Student Prefect Council
The student council at DHS is carefully structured to nurture leadership, responsibility and active participation among students. Council members are selected through a systematic process that encourages fairness, accountability, and student voice. Once elected, students undergo leadership orientation and continuous guidance to understand their roles and responsibilities. They are trained in communication, discipline, teamwork and decision-making, enabling them to lead with confidence and maturity.
Student council members actively support the smooth functioning of the school by assisting in discipline, organising academic, cultural, sports events and acting as a link between students and teachers. They are encouraged to lead by example, uphold school values and take responsibility for their actions.
Through this structured approach, DHS ensures that students develop strong leadership qualities and life skills that prepare them to contribute positively within and beyond the school environment.
