Important Notes
- Saturday Schedule: Timings for Saturday will be communicated one day in advance via the student’s diary and SMS.

Reporting Time (Sharp):
- Students of Std I – IX must reach school by 8:30 a.m. sharp.
- Students of Std X, XI & XII must reach school by 7:50 a.m. sharp.
- Special Classes / Practice Sessions: In case of any special classes or practice sessions (held either before 8:30 a.m. or after regular school hours), students will be informed in advance.
General Instructions To The Students
1. Discipline & Conduct
- Pupils are expected to attend school in full school uniform with clean trimmed nails.
- Girls should come in two plaits, boys should have their hair short and trimmed. (No funky hair styles are allowed).
- Pupils are expected to cooperate in keeping the premises of the school neat and tidy and therefore restrain from scribbling on the wall, benches, desks and scattering bits of paper. Any objectionable practice like damaging the furniture, dirtying the floor will be viewed very seriously.
- Pupils shall greet one another and their teachers and their behaviour towards elders shall be marked by respect and obedience.
- On a teacher entering the classroom, the pupils shall rise and remain standing until they are told to be seated. At the end of the class, when the teacher leaves, the pupils shall rise again, pay gratitude and sit in their seats. The classes will commence and end with a brief silent prayer.
- The School Captain, the Vice-Captain, the House Captains and the House Vice-Captains will constitute the School Prefect Council that will help the authorities in matters of discipline and administration.
- The class leaders and deputy leaders shall ever be ready to render their service with a smile and obedience at every school function in and outside the premises.
- Pupils proceeding from one classroom to another shall do so in order, keeping to the left always, and shall observe perfect silence on their way.
- During class hours, or while engaged in other school work, no pupil shall enter or leave the class without permission.
- Any pupil found loitering in the school premises shall be seriously dealt with.
- Students should bring the books and notebooks as per the timetable.
- Books and notebooks should be properly maintained.
- It is compulsory for the girls of L.K.G to Std V to wear bloomers (shorts) everyday.
- Buttons and zips should be properly maintained and the use of safety pins in their places is discouraged altogether.
- STUDENTS MUST PUT ON THEIR ID CARDS AT ALL TIMES.
- Students are not permitted to bring cell phones or any other electronic items to school as per our school rules. Any violation in this regard will be strictly dealt with.
- No jewellery including silver anklets, fancy chains, dangling ear rings, rings should be worn in the school any occasion.
- Students should avoid wearing gold ornaments to school.
- Students are not permitted to colour their hair, grow/polish their nails.
- Students should conduct themselves, both inside and outside the school, with dignity and decorum.
- Students should not enter the class without the permission of the teacher concerned.
- Students must perform well both in academic and non-academic programmes of the school.
2. Academics & Examinations
- Any pupil who tampers with the progress report or is found guilty of any other kind of malpractice in this connection is liable to severe disciplinary action.
- Three midterm tests and three terminal examinations will be conducted throughout the academic year for classes from STD I to XII.
- Special tests will be conducted for STD IX - XII.
- It is mandatory for the slow achievers to attend the remedial classes organized by the school after school hours.
- Students using unfair means during examinations are liable to be punished.
- No student is permitted to bring any money to school unless a written note is sent by the teacher.
- Speaking in English inside the school campus is mandatory.
- Science records / project work must be submitted on the dates specified by the respective teachers. The student will not be allowed to perform the next experiment and can also be stopped from taking the Terminal / Annual Examination due to non submission.
3. Attendance & Leave
- Attendance on the re-opening of every term is compulsory, failing which the pupil cannot attend school for the next 3 days.
- A pupil may avail leave only with prior permission except in unforeseen cases. In such an eventuality, they are to ensure that the leave application reaches the class teacher at the earliest.
- All leave applications exceeding 3 days are to be addressed to the Principal by the pupils' parent or guardian and for the short duration of two days leave the application are to be addressed to the class teacher.
- Any pupil availing himself/ herself of sick leave should produce a medical certificate. (If more than 2 days).
- Pupils requiring permission during any part of the day, whatever be the reason, will have to obtain the Principal's permission.
- Every pupil is required to have attendance of not less than 90% of the working days in a school year. Failing which, the chances of promotion is doubtful.
- Unauthorized absence for 10 days or more will result in the “REMOVAL OF NAME FROM THE ROLLS”.
- All the students are expected to reach the school by 8:30 a.m. / 7:50 a.m. (according to their classes).
- If a student comes late, he/she will be retained in the school for an hour.
- The school authority is not responsible for the students who reach the school before the specified time.
4. Library Rules
- Students of Std III to XII are permitted to borrow only one book at a time.
- The books must be returned within the due date.
- Perfect silence shall be maintained in the library cum reading room. Personal belongings like books, bags, umbrellas etc., are not permitted inside the room.
- In case of any damage to the book, the borrower shall have to pay its full cost.
- In the event of loss of a library book, the matter must be reported to the librarian immediately and the borrower shall have to bear the full cost.
- Reference books shall not be taken out of the library.
- Transfer of books without proper entry in the register is not permitted. The student in whose name a book is issued shall be held responsible for its return.
Instructions to Parents & Additional Guidelines
Instructions to Parents
- Parents must avoid disturbing the students or teachers during the working hours.
- Parents are requested to share the responsibilities of the school, whenever the student is at home after school hours or during holidays.
- Since SMS and School app facility is available, the parents are requested to check their mobiles regularly.
- Parents should not allow their wards to use mobile phones.

Transfer certificate will be issued only if:
- A written requisition is submitted in the office with the signature of both the parents.
- All the dues have been paid to the school.
- Application for Transfer Certificate should be made in writing to the Principal within the stipulated time failing which first term fees for the new session will have to be paid. T.C will be issued 3 days after submission of application or 3 days after the results are announced.
- Periodic progress summary reports shall be sent to parents / guardians to appraise them of the pupil's regularity, conduct and work at school.
- Progress reports must be returned to the school immediately, duly signed by the parents or guardian.
- Any pupil who does not return the progress report within 2 days, duly signed by the parent or guardian shall not be allowed to attend class.
- When a parent is asked to report to the school in connection with the child's work or conduct at school, he/she will kindly make it a point to respond to it in the interest of the child.
Lunch & Health Guidelines
- Parents are requested to send lunch for their wards with a serviette (napkin) in the morning itself.
- Please do not send any non-vegetarian food. (except egg).
- The watchman has been strictly instructed not to collect lunch bags or any material from any parent or their deputies.
- Parents should ensure that their wards are present for all assessments / tests. Retest and assessments will not be conducted at a later date under any circumstances.
- No child may attend the school with infectious illness like chicken pox, conjunctivitis etc. The Principal along with the class teacher will decide whether the child is fit to attend school.
- It is mandatory for every parent to have an email id.
- If any circular is issued with a tear-off slip, it should be returned duly signed by the parent / guardian to the class teachers, the next day.
- MOBILE PHONES AND ELECTRONIC GADGETS ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE SCHOOL CAMPUS. IF ANY PUPIL IS FOUND IN POSSESSION OF THESE, SEVERE DISCIPLINARY ACTION WILL BE TAKEN AND THE GADGET/MOBILE WILL BE CONFISCATED.
