SEE THE INVISIBLE
How can you turn your vision into a reality? All you need to do is to trust the process without losing hope even in the darkest hours.
You should create a vivid mental picture; a fleeting thought or whimsical fancy will not qualify as a vision. A vision should be a grand result of deep thinking, charting out the long-term goals which seem impossible today. It is the fuel that takes you to where you want to be. In short, it’s the blueprint for the life you want to lead.
Your vision should be so emotionally charged that you are excited about it. If at all you feel desperate, always remember why you started. If you are clearly convinced about it, the vision itself will give you the surge of energy and reveal the hidden reservoir of strength within. Don’t place unnecessary limitations on what you want in life. Forget all the reasons why it won’t work and believe in that one reason it will!
Creating a vision is the easy and fun part of the journey because it gives you the opportunity to really dream and visualize what you want to see. The challenge is the execution of the vision. Many people abandon growth not because they lack ability, but because they lose sight of the person they are becoming. Sometimes what you envisioned doesn’t always go as planned so keep that vision no matter what life currently looks like and believe that progress happens even behind the scenes.
This holds good not just for the big things in your life but even for the small daily goals and routines. It’s easy to become frustrated when things aren’t going as planned but you must remind yourself that those small consistent steps everyday take you a step closer to your goal. Although it’s quite tough, it’s not impossible because God gives the toughest battles to his strongest soldiers.
Maintain laser focus on your priorities. In due course, you will get to learn to balance everything with expert like precision. What was once invisible—confidence, discipline, emotional strength, clarity—gradually becomes visible through action. Eventually, others may recognize your growth, but it was your vision that sustained you before anyone else could see it. In this way, vision is both the starting point and the sustaining force of personal growth. It translates every teeny weeny effort into a meaningful input and transforms uncertainty into direction.
